Sergeant Bluff American Legion Post 662 Celebrates Member’s 100th Birthday
Kemit Lee has been a member of Post 662 for over 70 years. On October 1st of this year the post honored Kermit with a birthday dinner and party to celebrate his 100th birthday.
Kermit is still active and attends post events regularly.
Last year, Kermit won a local “hand” corn husking contest at 99.
We were able to joke with Kermit that he was older than the American Legion by 6 months and was presented a American Legion 100th Anniversary Coffee Cup.
