Legion Hall Dedication Celebrated

The community building, commonly known as the Legion Hall, was erected in the year 1925. The excavation started April 22, 1925, and the corner stone was laid on July 11, with Editor Frank Miles, of the Iowa Legionnaire, as the speaker for the day. On Armistice, the citizens of Hartley and surrounding territory celebrated the event with the dedication of Hartley's fine new Legion Memorial-a $32,000 building. Geo. W.
