Every year the Glenwood Legion ensures the Glenwood Cemetery looks good for its Memorial Day Observation. The Avenue of Flags proudly displays the American Flag along the perimeter of the cemetery along Glenwood's main street. The Glenwood Boy Scouts painstakingly places a smaller American Flag at every Veterans' bronze county marker. The ceremony is held on Memorial Day for the entire town to participate.
