For the third time Naperville Healing Field of Honor paid tribute to those who have served or were currently serving in the U.S. Military. But in 2015, in conjunction with the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration Program, Post 43 assisted in a special tribute to Vietnam Era Veterans.

The week-long Healing Field of Honor that included 2015 Flags, mostly dedicated to a loved one; our own 60% replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall; The 12 plaques that honored the 11 men with a Naperville connection lost in Vietnam and “All of the men and women that died due to their service in Vietnam”; and our Veterans Day Program and Dinner was a week to remember in Naperville.

The week was especially memorable for our Vietnam Veterans and families of those lost because of the lasting effects of that War. What was very memorable was to be at the “Wall” as part of the “Vigil” to assist families and those with questions.
