Clinton B Henderson was born on a farm in Davis County, Iowa on May 4, 1925.

He enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps in January 1943. Five months later he was assigned to the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific Theater and participated in the New Guinea, New Britain, Okinawa, and China campaigns.

After his discharge in 1946, Clint used the GI Bill to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked as a CPA throughout his business career and retired as the Managing Partner of a regional CPA firm based in Chicago.

Clint was an active member of both the American Legion and VFW in Naperville and served as the 72nd Commander of Post 43 during 1995-1996.

Several years after his term as commander, Clint and his wife relocated to San Diego.
