Hundreds of World War II veterans were back in Naperville and took their places in the marching columns of uniformed men, paying homage to their comrades who lost their lives in the conflict. Dr. Frank F. Enck, a veteran of both World Wars and 13th Commander of Naperville Post 43, served as Grand Marshall. During WWII he served as a major in the Pacific theater of operations.
