Presented to the Post for their substantial, inaugural financial support of a new concept in the community, "Children's Safety Town". Built to teach children the ins and outs of living in a community and being safe! sponsored also by many local businesses, it was comprised of eighteen buildings, facsimiles of the actual businesses that sponsored the project. Streets, traffic signals were also developed to teach traffic safety.
