The local Boy Scout Troop 1 has been sponsored since 1933. Junior League Baseball sponsorship began in the 1930's, providing boys from age 16 to 18 an opportunity to play baseball in the Kane County League. " Through the years, 270 boys have played on our teams in St. Charles, and each has become a good American Citizen."
