Family Day is held here annually as a way of bringing families on base to see what their Reserve Citizen Airmen do on drill weekends.
This year’s event featured numerous activities for Airmen and their families to enjoy time together during otherwise busy drill weekends.
These activities included everything from medieval knights engaged in a simulated sword fight to children petting a variety of animals at the petting zoo.
This is an opportunity for us as a base to recognize the contributions Air Force Reserve families make - It allows us to mingle with and get to know the families.”
