Representatives of Horace Orr American Legion Post 29 and its Auxiliary attended the Seventh District Legion Meeting Subday in Cedartown.
Delegates from Marietta were Post Commander J. W. Barmore and Auxiliary President Mrs. Barmore; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Copeland, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers Wheeler, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Fennell Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Brown, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hazelrigg, Charlie Carlisle and C. P. Crosby,
A joint religious service was held during the morning. After lunch, separate business sessions were held by the Legion and Auxiliary.
