Horace Orr Post and Unit 29 American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary, were hosts to the Seventh District Legion and Auxiliary Sunday at the Legion Home.

At the joint session in the morning, Post Commander DiLetto introduced Dept. Chaplain Jack Callaway, Atlanta, who presented the religious services.  After the servcies Mayor Sam Welsch, Marietta, welcomed all the Seventh District Post and Unit members and other guests.  National Executive Committeeman Jimmy Powers, Macon, gave the response to the Mayor's welcome.

The guest speaker for the morning session was Judge Albert Henderson, of the Cobb County Superior Court.  Judge Henderson spoke on "Communism Within" and "Our responsibilities to our  Children."  He was introduced by George Osborne, Marietta, Dept. Adjutant.

Other distinguished guests present were Dept. Commander Sam Whitehead, Monroe;  Dept. Jr. vice-commander Calvin Stitcher, Athens; Jr. vice-commander Perrty Purcell, Marietta; Mary Howard, Dept. Historian, Augusta; Mrs. John  G. Lewis, Atlanta, Dept Second Vice President Auxiliary; and Herbert McCollum, Cobb County Commissioner.

After dinner, the Legion and Auxiliary, adjourned for separate business sessions.  The Legion meeting was presided over by Seventh District Commander Max Hillet, Calhoun and the Auxiliary meeting by Mrs. Edward G. Krebs, Marietta, Seventh District Auxiliary President.
