Garland T. Byrd, of Reynolds, will be the principal speaker Tuesday when the Horace Orr American Legion Post celebrates its 39th anniversary at the Legion Home on Gresham Street.
A dinner at 7 p.m. will be followed by Byrd, who will be introduced by Judge James T. Manning of the Cobb Superior Court.
Numerous dignitaries will attend the affair.
