Representatives of Horaca Orr Post 29 and Auxiliary attended the Fall Conference of the American Legion in Macon this past weekend.
On Saturday evening a banquet was held at which time Miles D. Kennedy, director of the national legislative committee of the Legion, spoke on "Pending Legislation for Veterans." Business sessions were held Sunday.
Attending from Post 29 were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boyd, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Fennell, Mrs. May Swanson, Mrs. B. J. Hazelrigg and Herbert Barfield.
