The Seventh District American Legion and Auxiliary convention will be held at Post 29 in Marietta Saturday and Sunday.

Principal speaker for the Legion will be Department Commander George Osborne.  Mrs. Lee Blanton, district president, will preside at the Auxiliary sessions.  Special guests of the Auxiliary will be Mrs. C. V. Hovis, department first vice-president; Mrs. Chris Vatsios, second vice-president and Mrs. Dan Clower, national executive committeewoman.

A dance will be held Saturday evening at 9 o'clock.  Joint services for posts and auxiliaries will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday.  Officers for 1957-58 will be elected at the business sessions scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.  Mrs. C. D. Copeland, Unit 29 president and convention hostess, announces that lunch will be served at noon.
