Grover C. Fennel, Sr. of Marietta, Past Commander of Horace Orr Post 29, was named Sunday as a delegate to The American Legion's National Convention in San Francisco this fall from September 29th to October 4th, 1946.
National Officers of the American Legion that year included General Douglas MacArthur, Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, and General Dwight D. Eisenhauer.
