Rogers A. Wheeler was a retired postal employee. He died Sunday, 15 February 1970 at Kennestone Hospital after a brief illness. He resided at 1052 Atlanta Rd., SW, Marietta.
Funeral Service was at the Chapel of Mayes Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. L. Howard Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Wheeler, a native of Bartow, Fla., moved to Marietta in 1914. He was employed with the Post Office for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1958.
Mr. Wheeler was a member of Horace Orr Post of the American Legion, Cobb Emergency Aid, and a member of Crestview Baptist Church for the past 50 years.
