The Horace Orr Post of the American Legion elected A. E. McCleskey as commander for the ensuing year at its regular meeting Tuesday night.
Other officers include: F. E. Davenport, senior-vice commander; H. L. Castile junior-vice commander; J.C. Stansell, adjutant; W. L. Baker, finance officer; J. P. Brown, service officer; Fred Morris, historian; and Grover C. Fennell, publicity chairman.
Delegates elected to attend the state Legion convention in Waycross this month were G. C. Fennell and F. E. Davenport. Alternates are H.L. Castile and W.L. Baker.
