During the past year Charlie Plunkert has been a hard working commander and has devoted much time to the interest of the post.  With the co-operation of a few members he has closed a successful year for the post and deserves the appreciation of every member.  Under his leadership the post has rendered a creditable service to veterans in a number of instances and the affairs of the post are being turned over in good shape.

Lucius Atherton will make the post a good leader.  There are many services that can be done in the interest of Legion members and their families if the post is properly functioning.  It is to the welfare of every member to support the commander and the activities of the post.  [Marietta Journal 1936]
