National Cmdr Visits Post 143

The following photos were taken during National Commander LaCoursiere's visit to Post 143 on January 18, 2025.

 CCBOC Chair Michelle Morgan, presented the National Commander with a Proclamation declaring Jan 18th as Commander LaCoursiere day, while Carrollton Mayor Betty Cason presented Commander LaCoursiere with a key to the City. 

Past Commander Don Levans welcomed the National Commander and gave a brief history of the CCVMP where he will be laying a Wreath in front of the POW/MIA Flag after his visit to the Post.

The Georgia Defense Force Band, conducted by Captain Terry Lowry, played the National Anthem and the songs of each Branch of Service while Veterans stood up as their particular service song was played.

The National Commander presented Commander Fuller with a signed photo, a pen and a Legion challenge coin, while Commander Fuller and SAL Commander Fenner presented monitary gifts to Commander

LaCoursiere.

Numerous other VIP'S from National, the Department of Georgia, 5th District, Legion Riders, and County and City First Responders were also in attendance.
