Past Post 143 Cmdr. Don Levans Receives Life Member Certificate and Trophy

On November 17, 2022, during the Post Family Thanksgiving dinner, American Legion Post 143 Commander Ronnie Pate presented Past Cmdr. Don Levans with a Life Member certificate and trophy in recognition and sincere appreciation for his outstanding loyalty and dedication to this organization. This honor recognizes the commitment demonstrated towards the programs, activities and ideals of The American Legion dedicated to God and Country. Don Levans said, “I am ninety-one years old, and the Post waits until now to honor me with a Life Membership.” After much laughter from fellow veterans, he went on to say, “I am highly honored at Post 143 tonight for presenting me with this beautiful trophy and Certificate.” From left is Commander Ronnie Pate and Past Commander Don Levans
