Post 143 Family Takes Part in Heritage Days

Post 143 Family volunteers took part in the 2-day Heritage Days event held at the Carroll County AG Center on Sep 22-23. Approx. 1200 3rd graders from 3 county's participated in the 2 day event. Activities centered around Pioneer Days in the south. There was a one room School House, Black Smith Shop, Saw Mill, one room cabin, Civil War displays, and various other crafts were available. The day ended with a Flag Retirement Ceremony presented by the Post 143 Honor Guard Team.
