POST 143 HOSTS AWARDS BANQUET FOR CENTRAL HS SHOTGUN CLUB

American legion Post 143 hosted an Awards Banquet for members and family of the Central High Shotgun team on August 18, 2022. Commander Ronnie Pate and Junior Shooting Sports Chairman, Frank Joswick recognized members of the Shotgun team with Certificates and Medals. Those receiving certificates of Participation for their excellent marksmanship skills demonstrated during the 2022 State Shotgun Championship were, Emma Cook, Andrew Maxwell, Chase Skipper, and Jacey Williford. Team member Rick Carnes received a certificate with medal for his outstanding marksmanship skills as the team’s high scorer in the Sporting Clays event, while Brooks Wilson received A certificate with medal for his outstanding marksmanship skills as the team’s high scorer in both the Skeet and Trap events. Coach Ben Skipper received a monetary donation in support of their shotgun Program.
