Carroll County 4H precision Air Rifle team member Morgan Frank and 14 other competitors from around the country attended the American Legion's National Air Rifle Championship Tournament at Colorado Springs, Colorado from July 23-28, 2019. Morgan Placed 1st in the State of Georgia with a qualifing score of 591 allowing her to advance to the National's.
After 3 days of shooting, Morgan Frank and 7 other competitiors advanced to the Finals. Morgan came in 6th place and was presented with a Certificate of Participation from National Commander Brett P. Reistad along with a JSSP T-Shirt, a commemorative coin and a limited edition 100 year anniversary silver dollar.
Makenzie Sheffield came in 1st place and Scott Rockett finished 2nd.
