Carroll Post 143 Hosts Free Concert at the Carrollton AMP

In celebration of the Legion's 100 Year Anniversary.Carroll Post 143 hosted a free concert at the downtown Carrollton Amphithether (AMP) on May 25th for all to attend. This event ended the day that began with a Memorial Day ceremony at the Carroll County Memorial Park followed by a luncheon at the post that also included the showing of various War memorabilia dating from WWI to the Iraq War. Post member Bill Hearnburg, the EMCEE for the event, coordinated the venue between the City of Carrollton and the members of the Band of Gold. (Great job Bill.) The songs ranged from the 40"s to the 7o's. and was enjoyed by all attending
