Carroll Post 1`43 Holds Awards Night for the CC4H Riflery Team

American Legion Carroll Post 143 sponsored the Carroll County 4H Riflery team allowing them to compete in this years American Legion's 2018-2019 3-Position Precision Air Rifle Tounament.The Top fifteen competitors in each category will be invited to compete at the National Championship at the USA Shooting Range, Olympic training Center, Colorado Springs, CO from July 24th through the 27th. The Team Category consisted of: Taylor Berry, Ben Bradley, Morgan Frank, Collin Grubbs, and Thomas Harris. The 4H Team placed 3rd in the State of Georgia and 26th nationally out of 84 teams. The 4H team did not qualify to advance to the finals.

In the Individual category, Morgan Frank placed 1st in the State of Georgia and 9th nationally out of the top 25 competitors. The final 15 competitors have been invited to to compete at the Legion's National Championship to be held in Colorado Springs, CO from July 24th to the 27th.
