Department of Georgia, 5th District Fishing for Freedom Event

The 5th District held its annual Fishing For Freedom event on April 27, 2019. This event is for wounded Veterans, Veterans with war related injuries, paralyzed Veterans and Gold Star families. Volunteers from various Post's from within the 5th District provided Boats, helped with fishing tackle, and prepared lunch for all that attended. Post 143 Past commander Ronnie Pate coordinated the use of Georgia Power's Plant Wansley Park for this event. Pictured are Past Commander Ronnie Pate and Senior Vice Commander Dale Robinson.
