American Legion Post 143 Participates in the Carroll County Special Olympics Event.

The American Legion Post 143 took part in the City of Carrollton's Recreations Department Special Olympics Event  held on March 26, 2019 at Centeral High School. The weather was overcast, 49 degrees and windy. But the event went on as scheduled and all the schools and volunteers that participated had a great time setting up and conducting such games as Shot-Put, Ball Throw, and various Track & Field events. It was such a joy to see the smiles on the faces of the kids as they received ribbons for taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the various games that they participated in.
