Post 143 Retiring Cmdr Ted Merriss Presents Awards to members

Retiring Cmdr Ted Merriss presented Robert Hilliard with the "legionnaire" of the Year certificate for outstanding leardership and service to the post; He was also congratulated by the Department Jr Vice Cmdr Jesse Campbell for receiving a 1st place plaque for the Post Yearbook; Retiring Cmdr Ted Merriss presents Frank Joswick with the "Commanders" award for unselfishly devoting many hours of help and encouragement to the Commander in the performance of the Post's administrative duties in absence of a post Adjutant. He also presented him with the Departments American Legion Press Association's 2nd place plaque for creative design and overall content of the Post website; Retiring Cmdr Merriss presented Randy Purser with the American Legion Press Association's 2nd place plaque for overall content and layout of the Post's facebook page; Past Cmdr Ronnie Pate presented Retiring Cmdr Ted Merriss with the Departments 100% membership ribbon earned during the 2017-2018 post year.
