American Legion Post 143 Participates in Job Fair

Commander Ted Merriss along with Frank Joswick and Auxiliary Chaplain, Jo Ann Duncan participated in a local Job Fair sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor and the West Georgia Technical College. There were over 25 business represented and over 150 people attended the event. Post 143 was able to speak with 10 prospective new members, 7 were interested in the Legion, 2 wanted additional information about the Auxiliary and one expressed an interest in the Sons of the American Legion. All prospects will be contacted by a representative of the Post Family.
