First Carroll County Casualty of World War I

James Casper Holland was the first World War I casualty from Carroll County, Georgia. Some research and genealogical study revealed that Private Holland was a 3rd cousin, twice removed of 2014-2015 Post 143 Commander Ronnie Pate.
