Childrens Day

Every year Thailand celebrates children's day. There are many activities throughout the kingdom for the children. The military bases open their gates and allow everyone in to view military equipment and watch demonstrations of flying, parachuting and many other things.

For the second year in a row, our post was invited to participate and has operated an ice cream stand where we gave out free ice cream. This year our booth was given a better location the last years. 3,500 ice cream cones were served to the both kids and adults. This was a very successful endeavor and we hope to do even better next year.
