The Department of Maryland hosts Dept of Defense students to attend Boys and Girls State. The Ansbach community is sending three students this year. The young woman, Alina Morecraft, is sponsored by the Ansbach Spouses and Civilians Club, Bryan Kott is sponsored by Post 1982, and Cooper Robertson is sponsored by the Illesheim and Ansbach VFW posts. These organizations are paying for the students flight to and from the United States.
