After months of logistical planning and coordination, on April 23, 2017, American Legion Riders Michael W. Smith, Brad Smith, and Scott Brown of American Legion Post 283 of Arlington, FL presented a Battlefield Cross Dedication to the Jacksonville National Cemetery’s Administration Offices.
The event was a joint effort of all 4 American Legion Post 283 Family members: The American Riders, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and the Legionnaires. On behave of the Jacksonville National Cemetery, Mr. A Richburg, Director accepted the presentation.
