Comander's Report - Very pleased that our Post has increased its Legion Projects activities, as well as Veteran Hospital visitations. I reported the caravan to Gainesville last month. A second visitation, this time over to Lake City, is scheduled for April 19th.  Another trip to Lake City Hospital, for Bingo is scheduled for April 19th. More to follow later. Post oratorical, as well as Tri-County were held in February with the Ladies Auxiliary their usual fine job of bringing snacks at the Tri-County get together. A Commander's salute to A.T. Hollman, Jr. for a fine job chairing this important Legion project. B.B. Hatcher gets another salute for a most impressive ceremony honoring "The Four Chaplains". These men of the cloth gave their lives when the U.S.S. DORCHESTER was sunk after World War II had ended. These brave men gave their life jackets to others just before they went down with the ship. Elvin W. Teague

Buz Sawyer recovering at home now that the "pins" are out of his feet. Shirley Cook will enter the hospital February 16th, to undergo more tests. Thanks to the Clergy and all others for attending the memorial for the Four Chaplains on February 13, 1978. B.B. Hatcher
