Alvin McGary is a Retired Air Force First Sergeant and the first African American Commander of post 26. He was elected in May of 2006 and was commander from the years 2006 - 2008 and from 2010 to 2013. He has also held the positions of Second Vice Commander, First Vice Commander and post Judge Advocate.
