The Post Commander spoke at a luncheon meeting of the local Lions Club at the Royal James Hotel in Norwalk, The Officers and members of the Post dedicated the cannon memorial at the American Legion Plot at Riverside Cemetery. The dedication service was conducted by comrades Anson F. Keeler, LeRoy Downs, Joseph Brotherton and Ernest Coulter. In the evening, members of the Post and Auxiliary attended a Memorial Day Service at the South Norwalk Baptist Church.
