The Annual Banquet of the American Legion of Fairfield County was held at the Royal James Hotel in Norwalk. State Commander Harry Jackson gave an interesting address; Comrade Harold Connery of Georgetown was presented with a gavel for his Post, as a reward for the 100 percent membership. There was a fine dinner, snappy entertainment and a large attendance. Past Department Vice Commander, LeRoy Downs arranged the affair.
