The newly elected officers were installed by County Vice Commander, Harry Hull and Comrade Jack Coughlin of Ridgefield, Dan Edwards and Comrade William H. Clark of New York City were present. Other guests of the Post were General Robert W. Marshall, Commanding Officer of the U.S. Veterans Hospital at Allingtown (now West Haven, CT); Past Commander John Batterson of Douglas Fowler Post, G.A.R. and Past Commander Charles Israel of Mulvoy-Tarlov Post, VFW all of whom spoke at the conclusion of the installation ceremonies. Lt. Edwards presented Past Commander Anson F. Keeler with a Past Commander badge and Past Commander LeRoy D. Downs addressed the members and guests. The Auxiliary officers were installed at the same meeting.
