The Legion Drill Team and other members of the Post joined with members of the other veterans organizations in services at the various cemeteries and in decorating graves of comrades who have passed on. In the evening members of the Post and Auxiliary attended a memorial service at the East Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church. The local Legion Post was well represented in the annual Memorial Day parade on May 30th.
