Post votes to discontinue the Senior, Junior and 2 younger Legion teams.

The program was very successful for all 25 years. Post Senior team was the Zone 3 Champion 5 times, but never won the state. Walter Sopkie was the Baseball refreshments chairman for the first few years. All came to an end, when he fell off his roof in Essex. The early years, we played our home games at the Westbrook HS Field next to the dump. A Westbrook Pitcher pitched a perfect 7 inning game there... When the High School and Junior High School went thru construction. The home field became the field at Clinton's Indian River Complex with lights. Approximately the last 6 years, most home games were played there and some at the new complex behind the Westbrook high school.

Their were only 2 Post Members, who were GM. Frazier Brinley 1989-91 & 2009-2014. As the Post Adjutant, Mr. Brinley signed all 25 applications. Ron Hinckley was GM from 1992-2007. In 2007, he died of cancer.  2008, Coach Karsick covered both positions. He was the coach of the Senior Team from 1995-2008.

Junior program 17U  was coached by Mark Snyder. The Team was very successful and won the State and came in 2nd in the Regional Contest in 2010, Manchester, NH. Mark Snyder  & Rob Pomroy coached only that one year. At the State Finals, Wes Nuhn was voted the Tournament MVP. Games were held at South Windsor's Rotary Field.

2010 Junior Roster:  Jack & Mac Finnegan (Xavier), Wes Nuhn & Nate Silas (Haddam-Killingworth, Ryam Pomroy & Matt Camilleri (Valley Regional), Dane Pallotto (Westbrook), & Justin Beale, Steve Carlson, Ryan Daniels, Chris Liggio and Dylan St. Pierre (Old Saybrook). Other than the Finnegans, none of these boys tried out for the senior team in 2011.
