Tis only about a year ago that the local people heard with extreme sorrow and proud admiration of the supreme sacrifice of one of our own local boys, who went at the call of Uncle Sam and took up the fight for freedom and humanity for the entire world. That was Marine Lester March, who fell in active duty, after returning from a stay in the hospital after a minor wound.
