The Boys of Routt County who served in WW I, and ultimately payed the ultimate price are the reason for the creation of Post 44. Leo Hill was the first young man from Routt County to have died in combat, and his sacrifice is honored by becoming the namesake for Post 44. This Gallery will attempt to capture those who served Routt County before there ever was a Post 44, up to it's charter and founding members.
