Post 209 is Chartered

Chartered on 26 February, 1976, as Centennial Post 209, (originally chartered as "Templeton Gap Post 209") in Colorado Springs, the post took its name in honor of the 200-year Bicentennial of the United States, and the 100-year Centennial of the State of Colorado.
