The Mariner/Marlin Association sponsors a traveling flag to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. The organization was founded in 1982 to preserve the history of flying boats also known as seaplanes and patrol bomber flying boats. The planes served in WWII, Korea, and the Vietnam era. The Mariner/Marlin Association is working to fly the flag in all 50 states. Colorado became the 23rd state during the ceremony at Mullins-Nickerson Post 108 on April 8.

Pictured holding the flag are Navy veteran Warren Grams and Air Force veteran Hal Lowe.
