Four Legionnaires from Pagosa Springs were elected to District 10, Department of Colorado American Legion offices on May 5, 1991. Robert Trujillo is serving his third term as Finance Officer, Ron Willett is also on his third term as District Historian. Julian Archuleta advanced from 2nd Vice to Commander, and Teddy Rivera will serve his first term as 2nd Vice Commander. This marks a first for Post 108 in having that many members in district offices and the second time in its history that a Post member was selected as Commander. John B. Chavez held the office in 1958.

Our Post has been host for three District 10 Conventions: 1991 at Oak Ridge Lodge, 1994 at Pagosa Lodge, and 1999 at the Masonic Lodge.

Five members of the Post have been District Commanders: Bud Patterson 1954, John B. Chavez 1958, Julian Archuleta 1991-92, Tony Read 1997-98, and Ernie Garcia 2006-07.
