On October 21, 1919, about 150 ex-servicemen from around Ventura County met and elected Frank A Arbuckle of Fillmore as Commander (then called President), Charles P Daly of Ventura as Adjutant (then called Secretary), Carrol Lind of Ojai Finance Officer (then called Treasurer), Also elected were Vice Presidents and Executive Committee members.
