On 17 December, 1919 members of Cecil Cox Post 147 met at their hall and elected officers for the ensuing year. John Y Spence was elected president (commander) and John Van Natta secretary and treasurer. Committes were formed to include "Ways and Means", Athletic and one for a Dance to cover a future program.
