At the meeting of the membership of the John H. Slaughter American Legion Post 30 on April 20, 2014, Tim Gillman was elected Commander for 2014-15, with Jim Wilson as 1st Vice Commander and John Straws as 2nd Vice Commander. Eli Lee Doyle was selected Color Guard Captain, Bernard J. Rott Finance Officer, Andrew Bogan Sgt. at Arms, Michelle Chlarson Adjutant, Larry Rhodes Chaplain, and Dan Cochran Service Officer. Executive Board Members At Large were H.R. Chlarson (voted member) and Dan Humbarger and Gary Maley (appointed members).
Jo Draegert is the new President of the Post 30 Ladies Auxiliary. Rodney Morgan is the new President of the Sons of the Legion, and Danni Hernandez was confirmed as Post 30 Bar Manager.
