At the May meeting of the the John H. Slaughter American Legion Post 30, the membership elected Charles Palmer the Post Commander for 1998-99. Bernie Rott was elected Adjutant, Earl Cochran Service Officer, and Herb Erhart Color Guard Captain. Skip Stubbs was elected to be responsible for the use of the new Legion Hall.
