Jaime Dyer, Sarah Smith, Jacob Hammond and Lincoln Slade, all students at Round Valley High School, were chosen by the Legion and the Auxiliary to attend the Girls State and Boys State weeks for the state of Arizona. At the September 8 dinner at the John H. Slaughter American Legion Post 30, the students shared with Legionnaires and Auxiliary members what they had learned during their week. All reported that they had gained not only in knowledge of the political process, but also skills useful in that process.
